I just love taking baby portraits in Surrey and Sussex. So when little Roman came into the Samphire studio with his cheeky smile I just knew the session was going to be a good one. I was right! This amazing little chap was so happy it was infectious. He is such a joyful boy his expressive face cannot hide it and his happiness radiates like sunbeams!
I had selected 3 different outfits to use in the session: a blue, a brown and a duck egg romper. All of which looked great on Roman. With each of my set-ups I use a different backdrop and have different props available to use. Don’t you think Roman looks super cute in my heart bowl? I also have other toys and props on hand for little ones to use. Roman particularly like my handmade wooden car, a firm favourite with girls and boys alike in the studio. Plus – rather like me! – it makes creaking noises whilst moving, which children love. Roman didn’t mind being changed from one outfit to the next, and Mum and Dad even brought in a Christmas jumper so that they would have images to pop on a Christmas card. Good planning! We also had time to capture some family shots as well.
Mum loved her finished gallery, ” They’re so amazing, thank you so much!”
Here are a few of my favourite images for you xx

With all my baby milestone sessions Mum and Dad are just out of shot to keep a watchful eye on their little ones. Although, if you would like to be in the portraits too then this is not a problem. Just let me know when you book in and I am happy to take a few family pictures as well. In fact, if you have time, take a read through my blog on the importance of being in portraits. If you are feeling a little unsure, this may just change you mind!
