. As a well established professional newborn photographer Sussex, I find many of my wonderful clients return after having baby number two and this was one such family. I photographed their son Woody when he was just a baby and it was so lovely to see how much he has grown. Can you believe this little wide awake chap was Woody back in 2016?!
When Mum and Dad contacted me again to say they were expecting baby number 2 I was super excited. This time when they came back into the Samphire studio they brought a little baby girl with them, named Bella. Such a great name choice for a gorgeous little girl. Do you think they look alike?
Beautiful Bella was 14 days old when she came to the studio. She was a total superstar who slept like a dream. Her big brother Woody was also amazing. Allowing me to capture not just of Bella on her own, but also of the two siblings together, using lots of soft greys and gentle pinks which I love for little girls. Her brother’s love really shone through and I hope that they grow up to be the best of friends. I think Woody still looks like his newborn portrait so it will be interesting to see if Bella does when she is the same age.
Composite images
I also created a few additional images for their gallery from composite background images. Like the one featured at the top and this gorgeous black and white image of her. If this is something you like then just let me know at the beginning of your newborn session and I can make sure that I capture the images of your little one needed to composite them together with another.

All my newborn clients are invited back to the Samphire studio for a complimentary sitter session. That way I get to see how ‘my’ babies have grown plus also this is probably one of my most favourite ages to photograph babies at. At this stage babies may be sitting up or lifting themselves up onto all fours. Bringing opportunities to pose them sitting in our vintage baskets or tin bath tub. These sessions are fun, and focus on capturing the personality of your little one!
